BATTLEGROUND: QUEBEC CITY FINAL DAY

Morale was down for the majority of protesters at this point, a considerable amount of medics were out of the picture, no more food to go on, and their temporary home ransacked and bulldozed. The spirit of resistance was still very strong, but strength in spirit could only go so far.

The police was going for mass arrests this time around.... Quite a few protesters were nabbed as they left the area of protest alone or in very small groups. Once again, cops used the same tactics they did with Jaggi Singh, by driving by their targets in white trucks, gettin out, nabbing their victims and throwing them into the van, dissapearing in seconds.

As time went by, potesters dissapeared slowly, wether it was because of the massive arrests, or because they simply had to make their way home. After all, we haveto keep in mind that people from all over Canada and the States came to oppose the FTAA...

Captured protesters were thrown into busses and left their without any food or water for up to ten hours before they were sent into jail cells that were meant for 1 person at a time at up to five per cell, even though there was quite alot of space in other cells...

This was it, this was the end.. The Summit of Americas had passed through, and slowly, the delegates of the 34 countries left Quebec.
