HOW DID WE GET TO WHERE WE ARE TODAY?

The IMF, in harmony with the World Bank, have been doing everything they can in their power to further advance this agenda since their conception post WW2. Whgile these organizations were created to rebuild a war torn Europe, they soon turned their goals to help out "under-developped" countries. Economically, i believe that it was around that time that the world would soon be plunged into economical chaos.

What I mean by economical chaos, is the sanctions given to corporations in the western world to build factories in "underdevelopped" countries and "help" their economy... Who are the real winners of these scenarios? Certainly not the people who are working for underpaid wages in the sweatshops in question, certainly not the governments of these countries who get very little monetary support oming from the low taxes that they impose on these multinational corporation... The real winners here are the ciorporations themselves, who have to dish out very small wages, and pay very little taxes to operate in these countries ( should they be asked to pay mre taxes, they can always move their operations to another country) and then sell their products for a maximum of profit in the western world. the real winners here are the WTO, the IMF and the World Bank who want to see capitalism flourish throughout the planet.

In recent times, the IMF has set its sights to further advance globalization through the means of privatization of many sectors in quite a few countries. With sanctions known as Structural Adjusment Programs (SAPs), they have been litterally storming the world with their (quite cruel) sanctions. olivia was among their first victims as they litterally took away water as a public service from the Bolivians to turn it into a private service. Wich means, that from here on, water has become a luxury that you can have only if you can afford it over there. SAPs usually affect public services such as health care, education and other social programs. By taking away these concerns from the government, the government doesn't have to divert its ressources for these and thus has more money. Considering that many "underdevelopped" countrie have an enormous debt towards our "developped" countries, the IMF sanctions SAPs on them so that they can continue to deal with the WTO and the IMF. That way, they can continue to deal with these two organizations, and they can pay off the debt much easier. Not to mention the fact that the less control they have over services offered to their people, the more corporations will find their way into these countries to offer their services. In short, SAPs ease out corporate control on oue planet atthe expense of culture, life and the environment. Rainforests have been litterally torn down, vast spaces have become dumping groundfor the western world's nuclear waste, people have been thrown out of their houses so that multinationals could produce their merchandise on their ground, and children have been exploited so that we, the westerners could play ball with Nike running shoes. It really is as I've said: SAPs are sanctionned at the expense of culture, of the environment, and human life.

By banding together the G7 ( the 7 most powerful countries) ( economically that is) countries at first, the WTO and the IMF gained alot of power because they had alot more "pawns" if you will. The G7 soon became the G-20 ( the 20 most economically powerful countries in the world... duh... ) and capitalist globalization and privatization of services is closer than ever to becoming reality...
